Europa Cantat Nevers organises each year an international choral event, a “Singing Week” or a Choir Festival. In both cases, full size choirs or individual choir singers are coming from the world over to take part and study choral pieces under the management of very reputable choir directors.

The organisation of such events meets two fundamental objectives:

• First, we are taking on board the vision and aim or the Europa Cantat federation of which we are a member: to promote and develop better understanding and interaction among the people of the world by common choral singing activities. These result in educational and cultural exchange as well as promoting tolerance and integration.

Second, the meeting and mixing with foreign choir groups and directors of high level of competence, allow the local country choir singers to enrich themselves on a human and artistic point of view.

By keeping abreast with the international choir singing world, and also deeply involved with the local country choirs life, Europa Cantat Nevers is an important life-line between all those who are doing choir practising.
